Sports and Physical Education play a vital role in achieving the aims and objectives of education. The students of Aurora Engineering College are provided with excellent sports facilities and encouraged to take part in the tournaments held in and around JNTU, Hyderabad and other engineering institutions.
The college has excellent facilities for both indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, and Carroms etc., and for outdoor games, Football, Cricket, Volley ball, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, and Badminton.
With the view to recognize upcoming talented sportsmen in the college, the Sports Club organizes an inter-collegiate sports meet, Khel, annually. The festival witnesses a large participation of boys and girls which includes athletics, badminton, table tennis, carroms, chess, cricket, tennis, handball, tennicoit and volleyball. Prizes and Certificates are awarded to the winners.
